TACTILE MAPS
These are my cards tactile. Thematic maps are a particular feature. To construct the images were used recycled materials, of different texture and different types. These cards are useful
for sensory stimulation, activities I'm involved in recent months at school.
But they can also be used as a simple thematic maps, used to construct stories.
Cards can be created with the children safely, choosing subjects, colors and materials that children love. Making the self-production of a game, the game itself. And the result, with children, will be much more surprising and original.
I chose simple subjects and the colors are different in that the types of materials. When
will be used to suggest to children to touch them for a long time and discover the difference between the materials. Each
consistency, any material forward to the touch sensations, or emotions, and even these can be pulled out and told, in the form of the game.
The possibility of using these cards are numerous, and I I've listed a few.
Material required for the self:
- Semi-card (I have obtained the cards from the boxes of food for cats)
- colored paper (smooth, rough)
- Cleaning (smooth, rough)
- wooden animals (what you can buy in DIY for decorations)
- pannolenci
.......
and everything that suggests the imagination.
Cut the cards of the same size (mine are 10 x 15 cm). Choose a variety of materials you want to use and prepare it in the bowls, collected by type.
For papers such as rainbow rpimo I cut all the different types of paper and sponges, I gave them a round shape as much as possible and I've put in a bowl in front of me.
Once the bowls are ready, turn the gun with hot glue.
In my case it is best demonstrated as the glue, which dries more quickly, but the glue will be fine.
As the gun heats up, organized space in the individual cards, trying to put on it the different materials that you had thought. You will need to see the final effect and make changes if it does not convince you.
When the hot glue is ready, ART ATTACK !!!!. Attach all materials.
When you finish your cards, to improve results, put them under weights (only the cards are not too large), this contrinbuirĂ to adhere to all materials on the cards.
If you have a box of paper (recycled) or wood (reclassified) use it as a container of the cards.

This is a very beautiful phrase Krishamurti. I have already alluded to him through his poetry in this post, but here you can find many indications and here.
Reading it does not give answers, but raises questions. Do not try to convince you that something (and just that little bit) but the truth makes you think, starting with yourself and find yourself full and informed. The key words, which I found in his reading so far, awareness, research, and demand freedom.
I find it very constructive, positive and liberating. Must not find out drop by drop to remain on the surface and make it almost trivial.
His books, though often brief, not to devour, to be read in one day, but to be savored as the tastiest of dishes.

Here you are my thematic maps I have prepared for use in school with the girl three years that follow. In the spring section, where I am, you face plenty of colors so I chose to start with primary colors on these cards.
cards then, passing the time, a growing student, you can also use words to learn to read or observe and describe an image.
The images for the card I have downloading of scaritate MAMMAFELICE (a beautiful site, where you can find a wealth of resources of different types, but still useful), whom I thank for your site and for his work.
I chose to print in a size small because they are more manageable, especially to those who suffer from joint movements.
I also chose to create a few cards (5-6) for each color as not to confuse the ideas and for building games and activities with the entire material.
I printed the images on an A4 sheet, four images per sheet, I then cut out and laminated, so very, very traditional, with a large scotch and transparent.
To remove wrinkles or particular forms assumed that the card during the implementation, once the realization of all the cards, I put the entire deck (15 cards around) under a megapila of books and a couple of days after the cards were beautiful flat and ready for use.

first cards will be used separately, one color at a time, to stimulate the observation of color and is associated with a "hunt" for color in the classroom and in the clothes of his companions. Then
will be used together (the three colors) to distinguish different colors (I chose many - not all with-card natural elements, which can only be of color qeul to facilitate the task and have immediate feedback in real life).
As the third game, these cards will be placed into three different bins, alongside a series of games and items of three colors. This will make the discrimination and classification of colors.
I hope that the idea could be useful and, in some time, I also put my pictures online to download, to help create more original card.
One proposal, however, for primary school teachers or year of kindergarten. Create cards with your students, through drawings and written words from the bathroom by themselves, so you can work on building a real project, in all its phases, allowing the comprehension and usefulness. I believe that
occorerebbre always combine thoughts, words, abstraction to concreteness, to do with their bodies.

A little post for four little angels.

The family of these children had been evacuated thirty times in ten years, a disgrace to any country wishing to call itself civil.
Alemanno, in good company with his predecessors, continued to evacuate without finding alternative solutions, and probably not really design them. The papers of politicians and government agencies in Italy and content are often linguistically beautiful empty.

And if my children are as aware of any man or woman, then this terrible death offers us a thousand questions. But no questions about Roma. Questions about us, integration and coexistence as words and facts and concrete.
As for the buck-passing politicians and those who can and should play, the better draw a veil. But what does not tolerate is the proposed Alemanno to give Roma children in foster care.

I am a woman, a teacher, I say that only when the human diversity can and will be born and live in the same area interactions, communication and dialogue, then we will expect to improve as individuals and as community; only then can we talk of progress and a better future.
If we were to think of all the other as a human being like us, then all the differences would be grounds for dialogue and mutual curiosity. No one chose to be born in that family, no one chose to be born in that country in the world and even in that period of history, but now we are here and everyone is really equal to another that viveve thousands of miles away, or who lives next to you but has a different culture.
The differences are not items that can not be changed, not only fixed elements and perennials, and every meeting and every cultural crossroads creates a new cultural model, a new idea, a new mentality, or just a different look in each. It is not enough to bet on the diversity and originality, rather than approval? I think so! And you?

The rectangular section have increased from 1 to 10 inches square and credescono one by one (the first section will have as a square of 1 cm to 1 cm, the second 2 cm by 2 cm and so on).
This scale will be presented as the pink tower and the teacher will show you how you carry and how to build and through facial expressions and arm, the child will understand the difference in weight between the various boxes.
Eventually, the teacher who will run them parallelepipeds represents a scale from the smallest to largest, and vice versa, with the fingers of the hand to highlight the differences between the separate pieces.
