Thematic maps
Here you are my thematic maps I have prepared for use in school with the girl three years that follow. In the spring section, where I am, you face plenty of colors so I chose to start with primary colors on these cards.
cards then, passing the time, a growing student, you can also use words to learn to read or observe and describe an image.
The images for the card I have downloading of scaritate MAMMAFELICE (a beautiful site, where you can find a wealth of resources of different types, but still useful), whom I thank for your site and for his work.
I chose to print in a size small because they are more manageable, especially to those who suffer from joint movements.
I also chose to create a few cards (5-6) for each color as not to confuse the ideas and for building games and activities with the entire material.
I printed the images on an A4 sheet, four images per sheet, I then cut out and laminated, so very, very traditional, with a large scotch and transparent.
To remove wrinkles or particular forms assumed that the card during the implementation, once the realization of all the cards, I put the entire deck (15 cards around) under a megapila of books and a couple of days after the cards were beautiful flat and ready for use.
activities will begin with the card using the sensory stimulation (sight) and color discrimination.
first cards will be used separately, one color at a time, to stimulate the observation of color and is associated with a "hunt" for color in the classroom and in the clothes of his companions. Then
will be used together (the three colors) to distinguish different colors (I chose many - not all with-card natural elements, which can only be of color qeul to facilitate the task and have immediate feedback in real life).
As the third game, these cards will be placed into three different bins, alongside a series of games and items of three colors. This will make the discrimination and classification of colors.
I hope that the idea could be useful and, in some time, I also put my pictures online to download, to help create more original card.
One proposal, however, for primary school teachers or year of kindergarten. Create cards with your students, through drawings and written words from the bathroom by themselves, so you can work on building a real project, in all its phases, allowing the comprehension and usefulness. I believe that
occorerebbre always combine thoughts, words, abstraction to concreteness, to do with their bodies.
